Moon Boots
Neil Armstrong’s moon boots are still siting on the moon along with nine other pairs worn during the Apollo missions. They were jettison to compensate for the additional weight in moon rocks they were bringing back to earth.

Here’s a site of some of that old ascii art. Pictures of celebrities created entirely from ascii characters. I remember in typing class in high school using old fashion typewriters to create ‘type art’ but not quite on the scale as these.

Interesting project at Microsoft to “explore photo collections in 3D.” Program can scan personal photos or even photos shared on the web to build a navigable 3D space. One of the coolest things I’ve seen in a while!

Fascinating Steel House Sculpture
I ran across this fascinating “house structure” made by artist/sculptor Robert Bruno in Texas. It’s made completely out of steel plate and he’s been working on it since 1974. Watch the movie as he describes the house and how he accomplished it.
