These are incredible sculptures that must be viewed in a cylindrical mirror. The physical sculptures look wildly distorted, stretched out around the mirror. the final image viewed in the mirror is amazing.

I climbed a good number of trees in my youth. And with most of the larger ones, having to resort to either a ladder system or foothold boards nailed to the trunk to ascend. This new invention by a couple of young British designers is uniquely clever. I’d love to try this out!

New York City’s “The Standard” hotel has placed a video art installation in their elevators created by Marco Brambilla. The montage of over 400 video clips rises through stylized scenes from hell to heaven going up or vice versa going down.
